If you want to move your Pimero server to another server computer, please follow these instructions.

Attention: This functionality is only supported from version 2010 R1.

Please start on the old server from the start menu “Start” -> “All Programs” -> “Pimero” -> “Server” -> “Server Admin” and enter the administrator password there.

2. Copy the entire data directory of the server.

In Windows Explorer, change to the data directory of the server. Copy the entire directory to a secure location that you can access from the server. An external hard disk or USB stick works best.

Windows Vista or newer

C:\ProgramData\soft-evolution\Pimero\

Please note that the directory C:\ProgramData is hidden by Windows by default. You can change this in Windows Explorer in the menu “Organize” -> “Folder options”. In the View tab, check the box “Show hidden files and folders”.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Program Files\soft-evolution\Pimero\

A regular server installation must first be performed on the new server computer. The version to be installed must correspond exactly to the old server version. Please download the corresponding version from the archive:
