The Pimero Server Administrator

Synchronization

In the tab "Synchronization" you have an overview about all syncronizations inside your Pimero network.

When one of your Pimero clients synchronizes with your Pimero server, a so called "partnership" is created. Such a partnership

symbolizes a connection between the server and the client.

Every partnership contains their name an the date of the last syncronization. The name of a partnership is composed of the PC name and

the corresponding user account.

The maximum number of possible partnerships depends of the number of your licenses.

One Pimero license contains one Pimero user and two Pimero installations. So with with every license you can install Pimero on two systems,

for example on your PC and on your laptop. Then you can see two partnerships in the list.

If you want to install Pimero a third time, for example if you have a new laptop and don't want to use your old laptop any more, you can delete

the old partnership that you don't need any more. Then you can install Pimero on you new laptop and synchronize as usual.

If you want to keep Pimero additionally on your old laptop, you have to buy one more license.

Important: Every installation of Pimero is unique. If you install Pimero on your PC many times, every time a new partnership is created.

If you exceed the maximum number of licenses by installing Pimero too often, you can delete an old and no more needed partnership.

A synchronization via that partnership is then not possible any more.

You can identify an old partnership by the date of the last synchronization.
