The Pimero Server Administrator |
Server Settings
In the tab "Server Settings" you can configure the backups of the Pimero server database.
If you don't want Pimero to create backups, uncheck the checkbox "Do periodical backups".
By default backups will be created.

If you want to create periodical backups, you can set the destination folder. This is useful if you have a separate drive for your backups.
The "Backup interval" sets the interval the backups are created. This value is in minutes, so a backup interval of 120 means that every
second hour a backup is created.
To save memory on your hard disk Pimero overwrites periodically old backups. "Backup generations" sets the total number of backups
stored on your hard disk. Is that number exceeded Pimero overwrites automatically the oldest existing backup.
Example: You have set the "Backup generations" to 50 and the "Backup interval" to 120. After the installation Pimero starts to create every
second hour a new backup on your hard disk, until you have 50 backups. Two hours later for the 51st backup Pimero overwrites the first
backup with new data.
