Server Administrator - Information

The Pimero Server Administrator

The Server Administrator is for managing your Pimero Server. The first time you run the Server Administrator you have to type in your

network password of your Pimero network. This password you have set during the installation of the Pimero server.

Informationen

The Pimero server is a Windows service. In the top of the Tab "Information" you can see some information concerning the Windows service

of your Pimero server:

if the service is installed
if the service is running
the data directory of the service

In the lower part of the "Information" tab you can see some information about your license.

The Server Administrator tries to read an existing license key from your system. If you have installed just the server without any Pimero clients

on your PC, you have to insert your license key. To do so, click on "insert license key", insert your key via Copy & Paste and click on "OK".

If you have also installed a Pimero client on your System, the license key usually is read correctly and you don't need to enter it here again.

Nevertheless it is possible that the key cannot be read correctly, although you have installed a Pimero client on the same system.

This is for example possible if you don't have sufficient rights to read in the corresponding directory. Then you have to enter your license key again.

Important: The Pimero Sever needs to be restarted to recognize the license key correctly. To restart the service click on "Stop service", wait

until the service is stopped an click on "Start service".
