Optional modules

Email, RSS, Social networks

Pimero enables the administrator to disable or enable some optional modules of Pimero. This will help companies to prevent employees from sending private messages. The following modules can be configured:

Email
RSS Reader
Social Network Connector

In the default configuration only the email and the RSS module are turned on. Please go to Extras -> Administrator Options to change the settings.

The administrator password will be needed to open this window. Pimero needs to be restarted after the settings have changed.

If the modules 'RSS Reader' / 'Social network connector' are enabled Pimero will display a docked panel on the right side of the main window.

Those panels can be opened temporary by moving the mouse pointer over them. They can also be fixed to stay open all the time by clicking the pin button in the top right corner.
