Network installation - Server |
Important: You have to setup the Pimero server before you start configuring the Pimero clients!
To setup Pimero for multiple users and share/sync data do the following:
1. Click on "Next". Pimero Config Wizard will now check if your system matches all requirements for your Pimero configuration
2. Click on "Next" to proceed the configuration

3. Choose "Server - All other Pimeros will connect to this computer" and click "Next"

4. Enter the Administrator Password. The Administrator Password authenticates every Pimero user on the network and
must be entered on all computers which are part of the Pimero network. Don't forget the password!

5. In the advanced settings you can change the TCP ports for the Pimero synchronization and the Pimero chat server.
For most users the default values (synchronization: 8081; chat: 8083) are suitable
Click on "Next"

6. The Configuration Wizard will inform you about the tasks that will be done. Click on "Next"
7. When the Pimero server is configured, you can either create a new Pimero user or finish the Configuration Wizard and
create Pimero users during the client configuration. To do so select "Finish", click on "Next" and continue with step 9.
To create now a new Pimero user select "Create Pimero user" and click "Next"

8. Enter your user data and confirm with "Next"

9. Click on "Finish" to finalize the Configuration Wizard.
Now you can install your Client(s) in your local network (see chapter Network installation - Client)
