Individual emails




The layout of the email editor depends on the settings of your mail account. If you have enabled the setting "Send mails in HTML format"

the menu of the email editor looks like on the screenshot below. If you have disabled that setting the menu items

"Format", "Paragraph" and "Illustrations" are hidden.


If you have created a signature for your mail account it is already inserted into the textfield.




Choose the sender address


If you have more than one mail account you can choose the sender address by clicking on the small arrow in the right of the "From" textfield.

When you change the sender address your signature is changed, too, in case you use a signature.



Recipients / Carbon Copy / Blind Carbon Copy


You can type in your recipient(s) directly or you can choose them from a list of your contacts by clicking on the button "To:".

When you type in your recipients directly you will be supported by Pimero's auto complete functionality. You can separate several recipient

addresses via a ',' or a ';' or a space character.


If you click on the button "To:" instead of type in your recipients manually a new dialog opens where you can choose your recipients from a list.

The List contains all of your Pimero contacts. Choose a contact from the list and click on "OK" to add the contact as a recipient.

You can choose multiple contacts by pressing the 'ctrl' key while selecting your contacts.


Use the searchfield to find your contact if you have many contacts.



Add recipients for the Carbon Copy (CC) and the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) the same way.



Attachments


you can attach one or more files to your email. The maximum file size depends on the provider of your mailbox.

To attach a file click on the button "Add Attachment" or do a rightclick  on the list of attachments next to the addressfields.



Chose your file and click on "Open".


With a rightclick on an attached file you can remove it from the list.



Tracking


By clicking on the small arrow on the button "Tracking option" the submenu for the tracking options opens.

You can request as well a read receipt as a delivery receipt.

Formatting your text


You can enhance your emails by formatting your text for example via font type, color or pictures.

For this it is necessary to send your email in the HTML format. By default this setting is enabled.

If you prefer sending your mails as plain text without any formatting just disable the setting in your account settings.


To switch the format of the current email simply click on the corresponding button. If you switch from HTML to plain text

all formatting will be lost. Therefore you have to confirm once.



If you have switched to plain text format the menu items for the formatting will be hidden. Switch again to HTML format

to enable the menu items again.



Send or save


Once you have created  an email you can either send it at once or you can store it as a draft to send it later or to continue writing.

If you save it it is stored in your "Drafts" folder. There you can open it again via a double click.


Click on "Send" to send the message at once.
