Sync appointments and contacts with the iPimero2 App for Android
With the iPimero2 App for Android you're able to initiate a synchronization between your Android powered phone and Pimero.
After every sync process you get a sync result with all made changes on your phone and on your Pimero desktop client.*
Requirements
- Installed Pimero server version 2010R5 or newer
- Phone with Android operating system
- Google account
Step by step instruction:
1. Prepare Pimero for synchronization with Google
1.1 Click on "Sync with mobile device or Google account" at the
bottom left to start the configuration.
1.4 Choose which type of data you want to be synced.
Assign your existing Pimero folders to Google ones.
Confirm your changes with "Ok"
1.5 Click on "Sync with Google" to start the synchronization
2. Install and set up the iPimero2 App for Android
2.1 Get the iPimero2 App from Google's Android Market and install it on your smartphone.
2.2 Click on "Settings" and enter your Pimero Login information.
Pimero Server URL: Enter your Pimero server URL here. Example: When your server has the IP address 192.168.1.1, you have to enter http://192.168.1.1:8084
Pimero Login: Your Pimero login name
Pimero Password: Your Pimero password
Verify the connection by clicking on "Verify Login Data ". You should get a "Login successful " reply from the server. If not, check your credentials and if your Pimero server is up and running.
Your credentials are automatically saved after a successful login.
2.3 To initiate a synchronization from your phone, click on "Synchronize"

When the sync process has finished, you'll get a sync result, grouped by your synced calendars.
