Sync calendars and contact groups
with the iPimero2 App
With the iPimero2 App you can sync appointments and contacts from Pimero to your iPhone/iPod and vice versa*.

Requirements
  • Installed Pimero server version 2011R2 or higher
  • iPhone/iPod with iOS version 4.0 or higher
  • Installed iPimero2 App
    (Search for iPimero2 on Apple's AppStore)

    * Appointment series and exceptions are not synced.
 
 
Step by step manual:
   
1. Install iPimero2 App
Get the iPimero2 App from Apple's App Store
2. Enter your credentials

- Click on "Settings".

- Click on "Login credentials".

Pimero Server URL: Enter your Pimero server URL here. Example: When your server has the IP address 192.168.1.1, you have to enter http://192.168.1.1:8084

Pimero Login: Your Pimero login name

Pimero Password: Your Pimero password

Verify the connection by clicking on "Verify Login Data ". You should get a "Login successful " reply from the server. If not, check your credentials and if your Pimero server is up and running.

Your credentials are automatically saved after a successful login.

Click on "Settings" to close the credentials page.
3. Connect iPhone/iPod calendar with Pimero calendar folder

- Click on "Calendar options"

- Click on "Assign folders"

The App shows you all your writeable iPhone/iPod calendars.

3.1 Choose the folder you want to connect with a Pimero folder.

The App now will show you all your own Pimero calendar folders which aren't connected yet.

3.2 Choose the Pimero calendar folder which should be connected to your selected iPhone/iPod calendar..

Already assigned folders will be listed as the following::

Notice: You can only connect folders which aren't connected yet. To disconnect two folders, click on "Edit".

Repeat steps 3.1 and 3.2 for all calendars you want to sync.

When you're done, click on "Calendar options", to go one level up.
4. Set sync timerange

- Click on "Timerange options"

- Choose how many days back and forward from the current date should be considered during the synchronization process.

- Click on "Calendar options" and then "Settings" to get back to the main menu.
 
5. Connect iPhone/iPod contact groups with Pimero contact folders

- Click on"Contact options"

- Assign your iPhone/iPod contact groups to Pimero contact folders. The procedure is the same as in the calendar section.
6. Sync calendars

- Click on "Calendar"

You should see a list with all your assigned calendars. Choose which ones to sync and start the synchronization with "Start Synchronization"

When the sync process has finished, you'll get a sync result, grouped by your synced calendars.

To get further details, click on an item.

7. Sync contacts

- Click on "Contacts"

Repeat the steps, you've done during the calendar synchronization
( see #6 - Sync calendars )
